Art in the Garden: Presented by the BAC & Mimosa Garden Club

This event will benefit the Burke Arts Council and the Mimosa Garden Club. The mission of the Burke Arts Council is to enrich the quality of life in Burke County through cultural and artistic activities.

The tour will also feature local artists in each garden painting vignettes of the gardens. There will be five homes and two churches on this self-guided tour. All of the homes and churches are on West Union or a block or two off.

GA Tickets: $25 for BAC Members/$30 for Non-Members

VIP Tickets: $45 for BAC Members/$50 for Non-Members
**The VIP ticket includes admission to the tour and a “ Cocktail Garden Party” to be held on Friday, June 13 at the Burke Arts Council.**

The objective of the Mimosa Garden Club is to educate and encourage interest in all phases of gardening, to promote better horticultural practices, including the cultivation and arrangement of flowers, to protect and foster the bird population in the Morganton area, specifically the Eastern Bluebird, to promote interest in civic beautification and conservation and restoration of natural resources. The Mimosa Garden Club maintains the Kitchen Garden at the historic Captain Charles McDowell Jr. House at Quaker Meadows and maintains the Bluebird Trail at Mimosa Golf Club. Mimosa Garden Club is affiliated with the Garden Club of North Carolina.
