Have there been times in your life where someone has been trying to tell you something that you really didn't want to hear? This person could be a family member or a friend and they have been warning you about some aspect of your life that you have been trying to avoid even though deep down, you suspect they may be right.

However, at the conscious level, you believe there is no way they could be right because their message seems to be a curse. They mean it to be a blessing but to you, their message is nothing but a huge curse. This week, we look at two examples (one biblical and one from Disney) that address this exact scenario. We will see that even though the message appears to be a curse, the messenger meant it to be a incredible blessing and further, failure to heed the messenger's advice only leads to total destruction.
