The Elemental Series // WOOD

Heed the call of the wild. Traversing both the inner and outer world of the nourishing cycle (Wu Xing), this 5-part workshop series will explore each of the elements in practice and embodiment. We dip our toes into the elemental expressions of Qi (energy, life-force, matter) through Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire.

In Wood, we reach outwards from our cocoon to step into the new light of Spring. Determined, movement-orientated and purpose-driven, Wood is an expression of actioning our dreams and making choices to support our greater vision. What is the direction we want to move in? What can support us in adapting with the constantly-changing version of ourselves?

WORKSHOP FLOW:
We’ll begin our immersion with awakening pranayamas, Qi Gong and energising asana flow to land in the somatic medicine of the body and its movement. We’ll then land into a Liver & Gallbladder focused yin yoga practice with acupressure & self-touch woven through. We’ll close this experience with a warm tonic and gentle discussion.
