Founded in 2012 by UK selector Leon “Sir” Phillpotts, House of Roots continues the UK sound system lineage inspired by the legendary House of Roots sessions at The Arches in South London with Aba Shanti. With deep meditation, heavyweight basslines, and reality lyrics vinyl selections, House of Roots brings an authentic slice of international sound system culture to Philadelphia, often featuring international dub artists and top guest selectors.
