Vocal Improv Discovery Intensive Weekend Workshop

Saturday, May 31: 12:30-4:30pm &
Sunday, June 1: 2:00-5:15pm

🌷About the workshop:
If you are curious about exploring the stories and sounds in your own voice, evoking your imagination and the discovery of creating music in community, we warmly invite you to join us! This workshop will consist of creative practices - the first doorway being vocal improvisation as well as physical embodiment, breath and writing - with the intention of expanding our deepest creativity. These practices will transpire as we sonically blend and attune to one another through ensemble and solo expression, with the goal being dynamic yet soft self-discovery.

🌷What to expect:
Singing, rich explorative warm ups, physical connection practices, exploration of words and images from the subconscious, Vocal River forms (created by Rhiannon), creative writing, CircleSinging (created by Bobby McFerrin), rhythm building skills, exploration and journey of authentic self through the voice.

🌷Cost: As the workshop is a commitment over the course of two days, we are offering a sliding scale of $80-$105. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Your spot will be secured once payment is made.
