We're bringing this event back with a renewed energy, driven by some BIG dreams. We have inspiring guest dancers to showcase from both the authentic jazz and street dance communities, new bands for you to discover and new ideas to explore.

Travel 📆

We suggest arriving on Thursday July 3rd during the day or earlier if you can. The Jazz Fest will be in full swing all week with hundreds of free outdoor shows. We're also considering hosting some workshops on Thursday evening separately.

If you're looking to book lodging, our main venue will be right next to Place des Arts metro and easily accessible by public transit from downtown. Over 2M people attend the Jazz Fest each year, so we recommend not renting a car but rather to use public transit if you need to travel during your stay here. Montreal has a good, clean and safe Metro subway and bus system.

Extending your stay with Beantown Camp ✈️

For friends coming from out-of-town, we're hosting Swing Riot right after Beantown Camp June 26-July 3, so you can make it a full 11-day dance vacation in Eastern Canada and the US as we're only a 5h drive from each other. We already know dancers planning to do both.
