Atelier de 3 heures avec une professeure, en petit groupe de 8 élèves maximum
Au cours de cette initiation, nous aborderons les bases du façonnage selon les besoins de l’élève: galetage (plaque), pinçage, colombins, impressions.
Dans ce cours plutôt libre, les élèves pourront laisser aller leur imagination et fabriquer ce dont iels ont envie en choisissant la ou les techniques appropriées pour leur projet. Nous aurons plusieurs exemples de pièces en céramique sur place pour vous inspirer: plateau, tasse, petit pichet, assiette, bol, objet sculptural…
Chaque élève recevra 1 kilo d’argile avec lequel travailler et pourra garder jusqu’à 2 pièces. Celles-ci seront ensuite finies par notre technicienne : finition, première cuisson, émaillage transparent et seconde cuisson.

3-hour workshop with a teacher, in small groups of 8 students maximum.
During this introductory course, we'll cover the basics of shaping according to the student's needs: slab work, pinching, coils, impressions.
In this rather free-flowing class, students will be able to let their imaginations run wild and make whatever they want, choosing the appropriate technique(s) for their project. We'll have several examples of ceramic pieces on hand to inspire you: tray, mug, small pitcher, plate, bowl, sculptural object…
Each student will be given 1 kilo of clay to work with and may keep up to 2 pieces. These will then be finished by our technician: finishing, first firing, glazing with clear and second firing. Several colours of underglazes will be provided to decorate your creations.
