Club Zed Presents: SitzPub Cabaret

Take a pinch of inspiration from a sitzprobe, add a dash of Pub-night, and you get SitzPub our all-in-one Cabaret night. Hosted by indomitable Rose Ingrid Benjamin, SitzPub cabaret will be full of music and mayhem, story and song, and a bit of comedy too. This closing night event features performances by Montreal's incredibly talented theatre and arts community. Have a laugh, and shimmy with us as we celebrate the end of the 2nd installment of the Club Zed Playwrights’ Festival.

Black Theatre Workshop’s Club Zed Playwrights’ Festival returns from May 14-17, 2025! This second edition of Club Zed will feature professional development workshops, low-stakes presentation forums, discussions with distinguished artists, and much more.

The Trellis Micro-grant project, funded by The Department of Canadian Heritage’s Official Languages Support Programs, seeks to highlight English-language Arts and Artists to make them visible to a broader community, and build bridges between Québec’s English-speaking minority and Francophone majority.
