Hanan Issa is a nationally (occasionally internationally) touring Lebanese comedian and writer born, raised, and based in NYC. She has been featured in the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, Arab American Comedy Festival, and Time Out New York. She has opened for renowned comedians such as Sammy Obeid and John Achkar in many cities across the US.
In 2023, Hanan debuted her one-hour autobiographical solo show, Halal Habibis. Her solo show was featured in the 2024 Edfringe Festival for a highly successful and acclaimed full-month run. (Yes, she really did perform her one-hour show every day for almost a month!) She has also toured with Halal Habibis all over the US (and Toronto randomly).
Hanan is currently working on finalizing her debut stand-up hour and will bring some funny friends to open the show! Come laugh and hang out!
