Montgomery Garden & Tree Tour

Enjoy a self-guided tour of six private gardens and one of the city’s park gardens.

This year, the tour features gardens filled with native species of plants and trees, as well as annuals and perennials that flourish in pots and beds, complemented by garden art. This is a great opportunity to gather ideas on how to start, improve, or completely overhaul your own garden.

Participants will sign in at either of the Swaim Park parking lots off Cooper Road and Zig Zag Roads. You will receive a brochure and map to guide you to each location, allowing you to tour at your own pace. While at Swaim, you will want to visit the pollinator garden located behind the Wilder-Swaim House that now features Montgomery’s first public seed library.

Local artists from the Cincinnati Brush and Pallet Painters will be creating their masterpieces at each site.

Some gardens are situated on uneven ground, so wearing appropriate footwear and having good mobility is recommended.
