Tanker's Reef 2.0 - We're back!

After a year off for good behavior we are returning to Tanker's Reef this summer to restore kelp. This time we will be working with commercial urchin fishers who will vacuum up the urchins with an airlift. Certified Kelp Restoration Divers will be picking up urchins and putting them in goody bags. There will be some new slides and changes to the data entry portal. We will also explore the future of this regenerative fishery in Monterey and Santa Barbara.
