Montclair Music Club Young Artists Program

ANNOUNCING THIS YEAR’S YOUNG ARTISTS PROGRAM. Every May this special program honors the outstanding young talent of MMC teachers as well as others in our area. This year we are pleased to have a string trio, violinist Gabriel Anker, violinist Liana Branscome, and violist Elija Spies, playing Dvorak’s Four Miniatures; violinist Gabriel Anker, with collaborator Ryan Bridge, playing Five Nights in Sofia by Montclair composer Robert Cohen; soprano Abby Brodnick, with collaborator Mary Pinto, singing Debussy and Strauss; pianist Jason Ruan performing Bach, Chopin and Villa-Lobos; and pianist Sathvik Subramanian performing Haydn, Granados and Muzynski. These accomplished young musicians have earned numerous awards and won many competitions. We are excited for them to share their talent with us. This program is free and open to the public. Donations suggested to cover MMC expenses throughout the season, especially the Young Artists Program. MMC is a 501(c) (3) organization.
