Welcome to Pokemon Go Bioblitz!
iNaturalist is like Pokémon Go, but with real plants and animals, and your observations help real scientists. Join us for a fun morning of nature spotting and try to find the ultra rare Crotch’s Bumblebee! All ages welcome. Kids under 15 must be with an adult. Have your phone ready with the iNaturalist app installed.
Meet: At the Highland entrance at the Monrovia Hillside Preserve. The closest address is 462 Highland Pl Monrovia, Ca 91016
Bring: For your safety and comfort, please wear outdoor-appropriate attire and footwear, and bring sun protection as well as water and snacks for yourself. We will have snacks and water.
Preparation: Bring your smart phone fully charged and with the iNaturalist application installed as we will be using it to collect field observation data. To participate, please ensure that you create an iNaturalist account prior to arriving. New to iNaturalist? START HERE.
