Spirits & Legends - Resthaven Cemetery Tour

Step back in time with the Monroe Historical Society’s Resthaven Cemetery Tour! Join us for an unforgettable evening as history comes to life among the gravestones of Resthaven Cemetery. Guided by flashlight, guests will encounter live actors portraying some of Monroe’s most fascinating and influential figures—each with a story to tell from beyond the grave. From war heroes and pioneers to local legends, this immersive experience offers a unique glimpse into the rich tapestry of our town’s past. Don’t miss this chance to walk among history and connect with the souls who helped shape Monroe.

Two tours will be offered: a 5:00 PM tour for those who prefer to explore before dark, and a 7:00 PM tour for the braver souls ready to meet Monroe’s history under the cover of night. Don’t miss this chance to walk among history and connect with the spirits of the past!

We will also have a golf cart on hand for those who need assistance with the cemetery terrain.
