Delighted to let you know that Klaus will be joining us for a practical (with a little bit of theory!) full day workshop on creating, growing and maintaining an aromatic, culinary and medicinal herb garden.
Herbs have been the back bone of health, flavour, fragrance and healing in indigenous cultures throughout the world, for millennia. Did you know that Ireland and its climate are perfectly suited to growing so many of the most well known botanical herbs?
On Saturday May 31st, we will learn all about the importance of soil preparation for herb growing, how to make the best compost, sowing seeds, propagation, seed saving and where and when to grow our herbs.
Lots more besides, and all your herbie questions answered. (Klaus is also an expert in vegetable growing and how to make the most out of your polytunnel!).
