This hot summer evening, Sunny With A Chance Of Books invites you to Read Out Loud—a relaxed, slightly chaotic literary gathering in our bookshop (and maybe out onto the street if the night feels right).

Bring your favourite lines—poignant, hilarious, baffling, or just plain brilliant—and read them out loud. Novels, poems, weird cookbooks, anything goes. We’ll have our own stack of gems too. Together we’ll build a patchwork of words and see what happens: conversation, laughter, who knows?!

There will be wine. There will be words. There will be chatty people.

At Sunny With A Chance Of Books in Mojácar Pueblo, we’re on a mission to make books and bookish events fun again—and to let stories do what they’re meant to: spark real conversations.

Come read, come listen, come hang out. No prep needed—just bring a quote or a book you love or let the words find you.
