I can’t believe we only have 4 races left of the season!
This week we will be in the France Equestrian Center this week.
This Thursday is our 10th of 13 races at the Alaska State Fairgrounds.
Registration/warm ups begins at 5:45.
Timed runs start at 6:30 sharp!
We should have fair parking passes/tickets available for those who prepaid last week. If you didn’t get your form in to me on time you can still go get your own from the box office until the first day of the fair.
Races cost $40 for a timed run on both the barrel pattern and pole bending pattern.
Riders may practice before timed runs begin and depending on timing before pole bending timed runs.
This year we are doing awards a little different, we will be implementing the traditional 4D structure per age group. Except littles division which will still receive 1-6 ribbons at the end of each race.
Points will accumulate over the course of the series and belt buckles for Champion and Reserve Champion will
be given at the end of the series.
These events are designed to be a positive learning experience. We encourage new to the sport riders, green horses or folks who just want to come out and have fun. We just ask that you bring a positive attitude and cheer each other on!
We will have the Chuck Wagon this week so come hungry and support these amazing 4-H youth! The burgers are sooo good.
