Volunteer Training for Life Long Laguna

Lifelong Laguna is a mutual support program where members and volunteers cultivate meaningful relationships. It’s a win-win for both parties, providing personalized practical and emotional support, ranging from minor home repairs to shopping, cooking, or just being a caring visitor.
Member Paige Rhine explained. “What Lifelong is so good at is selecting volunteers to help me do something. I really feel they’re coming here to help me. It’s the difference between friendship and impersonal care, which is so annihilating. It’s different with my volunteers, Sandy Renner and Kerri Karas.”
Volunteer Debbie Naude speaks of her relationship with Sandy Weiss. “We have good laughs together, and we enjoy each other’s company. The best part for me is our conversations. I find her very interesting. She knows a lot about psychology, friendship, and family. We can share that together.”
