Wargaming Miniatures Painting Workshop - FEB 2026

Bring your War Gaming Miniatures to life! Please bring your own miniature to class. In this class we will work with pre-assembled war gaming miniatures. No matter the theme of your War Game, we’ll work on painting techniques that work for all game types. In the class you’ll learn to: Create robust textured bases, Prime acrylic or metal figures, Use paints and inks to accentuate details, Apply grit for texture, Learn Dry Brushing techniques to make highlights pop and Experiment with shading oil to create deep shadows. We’ll work with a variety of simple household tools as well as some specialty equipment to create realistic War Gaming Miniatures. We’ll even experiment with kit-bashing and modifying miniatures to create more dynamic poses.

Registration required: $71 for members / $79 for non-members.

Registrants should bring their own assembled war gaming miniature to class. All other supplies will be provided.
RAYMOND KEELY is an artist and musician from Bucks County, now living in Bethlehem. He is an accomplished portrait painter, landscape and still life artist. He works in a variety of mediums and with a never ending course of subject matter. He can be spotted around the Lehigh Valley working en plein aire or teaching drawing and painting classes in the studio or the park. From war gaming miniatures to building side murals, there’s no unpainted surface that is safe when Ray is around. When Raymond is not creating his own works, he runs a local bookkeeping, tax preparation and administrative assistance company that specialized in the needs of Artists and Musicians.
