You'll explore essential acting techniques, find new confidence as a scene partner, and create a more commanding stage presence -- all in a fun, supportive environment.

Through scene study, monologue work, and theatre games, you will be introduced to the foundational techniques and core principles of preeminent acting teachers including Stanislavski, Strasberg, Adler, Meisner, Hagen, Spolin, and Chekhov. You'll develop spontaneity, creativity, and confidence while discovering which methods best support your growth as an actor.

MELISA KLAUSNER is a graduate of the New Actors Workshop Conservatory in New York City, founded by legendary artists Mike Nichols, George Morrison, and Paul Sills. She was fortunate to study directly under these visionary teachers, whose influence continues to shape her work today. The school’s unique dual-track curriculum, combining Stanislavski’s technique with Viola Spolin’s Theatre Games, forms the foundation of Melisa’s approach to actor training.
Melisa has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in regional theaters across the country. She brings a wealth of professional experience and a deep love for the craft to every class. She is the owner of Coach Melisa Studio where her passion lies in helping actors become their most grounded, present, confident, and generous selves - on stage and beyond.
