About this Event

Have you ever wanted to draw your readers into your world? Each Give Them Sensations workshop will focus on one of the five senses. Participants will engage their senses to draw readers into their creative works. We will discuss works that successfully include sensory detail (eg. The Book of Delights by Ross Gay, “The Mute Sense” by Diane Ackerman, and Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel), engage with the sensory prompt, write about the experience or similar, then share. Today is smell.
