Perseids Meteor Shower Viewing - Clouds/Smoke permitting!

Perseids Meteor Shower Watch Party! Join me on Tuesday, August 12th, weather permitting! With the moon just past full, the sky may be too bright to see many of our fiery celestial visitors, but let’s get out and watch! The best way is to just lie back in a lawn chair with your insect repellent. If you want to join me, I will be out at Windy Point 9:30 pm. I’ll bring a telescope for a little deep sky viewing before the moon gets too high. Plus I can point out where all the Apollo astronauts landed on the moon!
