🌟BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

🌼 Sound of Music Trail Hike 🌼

Join us Sunday, May 18 in Missoula for a hike up the scenic Sound of Music trail! We’ll meet at the Lincoln Hills trailhead at 9:30 AM and hit the trail together. This route is about 4.5 miles, with 790 feet of elevation gain, and is considered a moderate hike.

This one is all about chasing the golden balsamroot bloom—fingers crossed it’s peaking! Expect wide-open mountain views, fresh spring air, and wildflower magic around every corner. We’ll take our time, snap some photos, and enjoy fun trail talk along the way.

Come for the flowers, stay for the views—and the great company. Let’s hit the trail and welcome spring! 🌼

🌟LIABILITY WAIVER: Just a quick friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please sign on an annual basis. Women Who Explore Waiver

Due to local guidelines and regulations, Women Who Explore will be limiting the number of attendees per event. Each member attending the event will be required to register through Eventbrite.

In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Hauna directly!

🌟WHAT TO BRING:

• Trail shoes/hiking boots
• Layers of clothing (gloves, beanie, jacket, vest)
• Water
• Snacks/lunch
• Bear spray

** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly and bring any personal items you may need. (For example: trekking poles, inhaler, sunscreen, chapstick, medications, etc.)**

🌟EVENT GUIDELINES FOR SICKNESS: Please be mindful of other members attending the events. If you have developed cold or flu-like symptoms leading up to the event, please cancel your spot in Eventbrite and notify the ambassador hosting the event.

🌟CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
