Music in the Parks: Tom, Dick & Harry

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.

This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Tom, Dick & Harry, a fun, rockin' alternative originals/covers band. They are a fun group of SW Minneapolis guys who have been playing together since 2010 and have 20+ rockin' originals. They just released our EP "Off Brand" in December 2024. The originals are filled with light-hearted, yet meaningful lyrics complemented with vocal harmonies, a great lead guitar and a strong rhythm section. Their covers range from alternative rock from the 70s to current. They love to cover REM, Bob Mould and the Jayhawks. Tom, Dick & Harry's drummer plays with up-and-coming Creeping Charlie, which also stars 2 children of our lead guitar player and their nephew leads another up-and-coming band, Pullstring. The band's kids and friends bring lots of energy to our shows. They love playing Lake Harriet Bandshell with their families having many Annunciation, Washburn and Mpls SW ties.
