Music in the Parks: Tim Casey & the Martyrs

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.

This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Tim Casey & the Martyrs, a melodic rock & roll band. The band says, "2025 is our 26th anniversary! "The Dream Calls" is the latest single from Tim Casey & the Martyrs, a Minneapolis-based R&R outfit. The Martyrs are: Robb Burnham on drums, Mike Cronin on bass, Kris Brauninger on the Hammond organ, Moog synth, and backup vocals, and Tim Casey on guitar and vocals. Tim recorded and produced this song at his R60 Recording Studio in Minneapolis. Engineering assistance by Jeff Marcovis, mixed by Tim Casey and Todd Fitzgerald, and mastered by Todd Fitzgerald, video by Amy DiGennaro."
