Generations of Pride: A Celebration of Queer Youth, Art, and Legacy

Join the , QUEERSPACE collective, and in honoring the contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ Minnesotans! June is Pride Month, and we’re celebrating the leaders making history and creating vibrant futures in our communities. Don’t miss the opportunity to uplift and celebrate through a youth art gallery, youth DJing, and a vibrant panel of 2SLGBTQIA+ Minnesotans. All ages are welcome. Lite bites will be provided!

EVENT SCHEDULE:

5:30-6:00 PM | Community Connection: Dance to our youth DJ, check out the youth art gallery, chat with community, and grab a bite to eat.

6:00-7:15 PM | Welcomes & Panel: An intergenerational conversation on Queer history and futures between five panelists. Attendees are welcome to submit questions during registration or bring them to the space. A quiet room and kitchen will also be available for those who prefer a different setting. *Panelists to be announced soon!

7:15-8:00 PM | Community Connection: Dance to our youth DJ, check out the youth art gallery, chat with community, and grab a bite to eat.

WHAT IS 1MN HISTORY MAKERS?

is a new 2025 initiative from the Minnesota State Office of Equity Opportunity and Accessibility in partnership with the Public Engagement Department to center and celebrate cultural observances throughout the year. Each month, these gatherings will provide an intergenerational opportunity to deepen knowledge of historical contributions to our state from the featured community, and will include dialogue space for going forward in solidarity across differences, diasporas, and beyond.
