Education: Youth Career Pathways

The Minneapolis Foundation’s Reimagine Education initiative is guided by the vision of a K-12 system that works for everyone. We support efforts backed by research and informed by the Minnesotans with the most at stake in our schools: Families, teachers, principals, and the students who will shape our future.

This spring, the Minneapolis Foundation is pleased to share a new report on the local ecosystem of youth career pathways. "Paving the Way to Prosperity: Insights Into the Twin Cities Youth Career Pathway Ecosystem" offers a landscape analysis of local programs that support youth as they explore careers, gain experience, and earn credentials during their K-12 education to translate their passions into meaningful, high-wage jobs.

At this breakfast event, we'll dig into the report and hear from local leaders who are implementing innovative youth career pathway programs. Please join us as the Foundation and our partners continue to explore how funders, employers, government, schools, and the broader community can come together to strengthen these career pathways—and invest in our community's future.

We'll kick off the morning with an overview of Twin Cities programs and why they matter, with insights from:
