SUMMER HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS : Beaver Craft

WEEK 3: 11th AUGUST >> MAKE ART WITH...Wood
Each week, discover a new material, help build a large group sculpture, and create your own artwork to take home. Free drop-in workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11am–1pm

WORKSHOP:
The National Trust will be joining us for a special workshop featuring a virtual reality experience all about beavers and their habitats. Experts will be on hand to answer your questions and share fascinating insights. You’ll also create your own beaver character using a simple clothes peg. Plus, we’ll continue building our collaborative wooden sculpture by painting recycled wood to form a bold, abstract installation.

DATE: Tuesday 12th August
TIME : 11-1pm, Drop-in
WHO: All Age, Family Workshop (Virtual reality headset can only be used by children age 10+)
COST: FREE (Donations to Contains Art always welcome)

An art activity will be available daily in the foyer from 10am to 5pm throughout the holidays, with a new activity each week. Gallery exploration activity sheets are also available for the duration of the exhibition
