Exploring the Exmoor Mines

Join us to learn more about Exmoor's mines whilst enjoying the stunning landscape.

Walk guide Phil Gannon is a retired chartered building surveyor who has assisted the ENPA with many projects and was formerly a member of the Exmoor Mines Research Group.

The day will begin by walking through the Barley Valley to Wheal Eliza, before exploring the Cornham Ford workings. The trip will the continue to Blue Gate (via car) to visit Roman Lode Burcombe.

A very interesting 3 mile walk, with dogs most welcome on a lead.
