Voas Nature Area has distinct habitats including one of the few wetland complexes remaining in Dallas County. Birds will be feeding and nesting which should give opportunities to see a wide diversity of species. Beginning birders including children are welcome and encouraged. We will also visit the Wetland Mitigation Bank which should have many seldom-seen species.
Some binoculars and books will be provided.
