This year, we’re elevating the annual HBCU Connection event by merging it with Summer of Soul, creating a vibrant, citywide celebration that brings together HBCU Connection Scholarship recipients, their families, and proud alumni from across the region. With a headlining performance by Grammy-winning hip-hop legends Digable Planets, the evening offers a rare and powerful opportunity to spotlight HBCU pride while amplifying Northwestern Mutual’s deep and ongoing commitment to education, equity, and cultural leadership.
