June Bonus Class - Balboa!

We get an extra Monday this month, so join us for a bonus Balboa track to round out June!

Balboa is another dance under the swing umbrella that originates in Southern California, developing throughout the 1920 and 30s. It can vary from subtle, closed position dancing with fun footwork variations to open and exuberant with turns, tosses, and kicks. It blends well with Lindy Hop within a dance and is particularly well suited to faster songs and crowded floors.

We'll be offering two classes that track through -
7:00 - Balboa 101 - no experience required
8:15 - Continuing Balboa - picking up where we left off in 101 and building on the basics.

We'll open the floor as usual at 9:15 for our social hour for practice and play - all styles welcome, of course!

$10/class, $15 for both
