About the event

2025 Plant Science Saturday
Taking place Saturday, July 26 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Milwaukee-area families will have an opportunity to get scientific with their love of plants with this outreach event featuring free, hands-on practical activities demonstrating plant science concepts for participants of all ages.

As attendees stroll through the farmers market, they'll engage with plant scientists along the way introducing new, fun, and exciting aspects of plants and plant life. From making seed cup necklaces to plant DNA bracelets, and even learning about plants in space, there's something to engage plant scientists of all ages!
