Improvers Painting: Acrylic & Watercolour - 5 Week Course with Julia Roach

WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR.
This course is perfect for those with a good understanding of their chosen paint medium artists - opportunity to continue develop and enhance your skills in either acrylic or watercolour painting

ABOUT THE COURSE:
This five-week course offers further development to the versatile world of painting in watercolours or acrylics. You’ll have the opportunity to try new techniques and approaches in your chosen medium as well as honing skills already learnt You will begin with a limited colour palette before moving on to full colour painting explore depicting textures, glazing and the use of other mediums with your paint mediums Some sessions will focus on producing a series of small studies, while others will guide you through creating a more developed, finished piece. Throughout the course, you will explore a range of subjects—some seasonal, some based on still life—as well as techniques inspired by historical and contemporary artists. You will gain an understanding of a variety of methods such as impasto, scumbling, glazing, underpainting, and there will be some mixed media techniques by the end of the five weeks.
