Mix-Your-Own Trail Mix Storytime

Get ready for an outdoor-inspired adventure at the library! We’ll read 'Grandma Gatewood Hikes the Appalachian Trail' by Jennifer Thermes, the true story of a trailblazing woman who hiked the Appalachian Trail solo at age 67. After the story, explore our trail mix creation stations and build your own custom snack with a variety of delicious options, including an allergy-aware station with nut-free ingredients and gluten-free choices available by request. (Please note: the main station will include items like almonds, chocolate chips, and M&Ms.)

This program is open to all ages. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult who’s ready to join in and help with the fun.
