This one is for the food lover and adventurer! We literally go out into the garden, harvest fruit, vegetables and herbs, take them inside and create an epic and delightful feast.
If you’ve ever grown produce and then thought, “now what do I do with it?” or keen to expand the repertoire of things you already do with your harvest, then you are going to enjoy this class.
Wednesday 21st January 2026 10am - 2pm @ The Post and Rail 58 Riddoch Street Penola SA 5277 (in the old Cobb and Co building)
$185 per person and includes a complimentary glass of wine from my family’s vineyard.
In this class we have a wander down petticoat lane to the herb garden to see what's in season to add to the harvest I've already collected.
We make Tempura Battered Zucchini Flowers, stuffed with Ricotta that we make from scratch, herbs from the garden and 3 Cheeses.
We’re also going to use all the heirloom Tomatoes in an epic Panzanella Salad.
I’d also love to make this Grilled Peach Bruschetta, with whipped Fetta and Basil.
How about an icecream from scratch with burnished sticky figs and toasted almonds? Swoon worthy!
I’m also ready to make this little tapas dish to swoon over that involves vine leaves, good pecorino and pomegranate molasses.
This is quite an adventurous day for a food lover as the pantry is well stocked and we can make just about anything….. from the harvest. I’m so looking forward to this class. The best part is the feast at the end that we get to enjoy. Stretchy pants are advisable!
