Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne

Il leggendario Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne è pianista, cantante e compositore di blues, boogie-woogie e jazz americano.

Il Chicago Sun-Times ha dichiarato: “Non c’è nessun pianista boogie-woogie-blues là fuori oggi che batte gli 88 con la convinzione di Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne.”

Influenzato da Nat King Cole , Little Willie John, Fats Domino, Mongo Santamaría , Ray Charles , Charles Brown , Floyd Dixon , Big Joe Turner e Jimmy Reed, vi farà fare un viaggio nelle terre del blues!

Negli anni ’60 e ’70, Wayne è stato sideman di vari musicisti pop e rock.

“Blues Boss” ha intrapreso nel 1994 un primo tour in Europa. Nel 1995 ha dedicato il suo album di debutto, ‘Alive & lose’, ai suoi genitori. Nel 2002 l’uscita di ‘88th & Jump Street’, seguito da Blues ‘Carry Me Home’ (2003) e ‘Let It Loose’ (2005).
