Rocking the Earth Family Science Night

Join us as we pay tribute to the Museum’s 50th anniversary! Dive into the world of geology with awesome hands-on activities the whole family will love! Dig into core sampling and uncover hidden hydrocarbons – will you strike (black) gold? Then, race to see which materials let water flow fastest in our porosity and permeability challenge! Try your hand at oil recovery, rock out with the rock cycle, and shake things up as you learn how Earth’s tectonic plates move. It’s science, it’s fun, and it’s all happening in one action-packed night!
