About the event

Demystifying meditation and mysticism
COME TO PARTS 1 and/or TWO as suits you.
Part one (10.30am to 12pm): (Re)introduction to meditation
& spiritual practice. We will introduce meditation and Centring Prayer. Perfect for folk who have never meditated or never developed regular practice - and for anyone who wants to refresh their practice.

Part two (after optional lunch), 1:30pm to 4.30pm: We go a bit deeper, though this session is still open to everyone, beginners and more experienced folk alike. We will introduce The Cloud of Unknowing, Jacob Boheme and arguably the greatest Anglican mystic, Evelyn Underhill. We will then look at methods to deepen our spiritual practice and examine different approaches to the Quest of Union with the Divine.
