Cruise up to the vibrant sounds of Madison’s waterfront with our exclusive Rhythm and 'Toons pontoon excursion!
Enjoy a unique three-hour journey on a captained pontoon as we cruise along the beautiful shores of Lake Mendota. Every Friday and Saturday evening from 6:30PM to 9:30PM, experience the best of live music at the Memorial Union Terrace and The Edgewater while soaking in the stunning sunset views.
Your captain will navigate the waters, providing a front-row seat to live performances, all while you relax with friends and family on a luxurious pontoon. Bring your favorite beverages, snacks, and good vibes for the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

Whether you're a local or just visiting, Rhythm and 'Toons is the ultimate way to embrace Madison's lively waterfront culture, with great music, good company, and stunning views all around.
Our pontoons can comfortably accommodate up to 10 passengers and offer various seating arrangements, including open-top front seating, shaded back seating with a small table, and one passenger seat. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) will be provided for all passengers, including children.
What's not included
Delicious Food and Drink options can be ordered through the Edgewater website from their specially curated menu for our boats.
You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink, we just ask that you avoid bringing items that could stain the boats.
Itinerary
1) Meet your captain down at the Edgewater's pier at 6:30pm. Be sure to stop by the Boathouse restaurant if you need to pick up a previously placed food order.
2) Cruise around Madison's Downtown to catch views of The Capital, The Edgewater, the Red Gym, the Memorial Union and more under a beautiful Madison Sunset!
3) Make your way back over to the Union to enjoy the live music around 7:30pm. Keep the good energy flowing!
4) The evening will conclude with a 9:30pm drop off at the Edgewater pier.
5) Get home safe and have a great night!
