Our next meeting will be on Thursday 21 August at 7pm. This will take place at:
Stages Academy, Bridge St West, Middlesbrough, TS2 1AB

This will be our "Annual General Meeting" so we will be asking members who are willing to help us organise Housing Action Teesside's activities to step forward for roles in the group. Anyone is welcome to put themselves forward, and everything we do will be a team effort so there will be lots of support. If you would like to only take on a part of one of the roles, job-shares are fine too. Here are a list of the roles that need to be filled and a brief description of what's entailed.
- A Chair, who chairs meetings, is responsible for making sure meetings are organised, that everyone has an equal opportunity to speak and that we decide everything democratically.
- A Secretary, who will take notes in the meetings and circulate the agenda.
- A Treasurer, who will be responsible for our bank account, making sure we can fund events, leaflets and any other expenses.
- A Communications Rep, who will manage our social media account, website and send out email updates to members.
- A Membership Welfare Rep, who will keep the membership list, and reach out regularly to members to find out what housing issues people may be experiencing so HAT can support them.
- A Campaigns Rep, who will lead on planning our campaigning on issues that matter to HAT members.
Please feel free to share the meeting details with anyone who shares our belief that Teessiders have the right to decent, affordable homes that must come ahead of private profit.
