From starting the business in the 1930s with a horse and cart to rebranding it’s site as Port of Middlesbrough, AV Dawson has grown to become one of Teesside’s largest family businesses.
Join us for a behind the scenes tour and insight from family members and non-family leaders involved with the business today, explore the port, appreciate the history, purpose and values behind the family firm and gain an insight into the way that this family business operates today at their new head office, The Staiths, the name referencing back to the old coal staiths which form part of the history of the port.
