Cat Cafe at Homeward Bound

7th-Grade students at Vergennes Union Middle School are partnering with Homeward Bound to host a cat café to help cats find their forever homes this Saturday, June 7th from 9:30am-11:30am as part of their service-learning project.

Owning cats can have a big boost on your mental health, companionship skills, and even your mood. The goals of our project are mainly to improve mental health and companionship in our community and to help the shelter adopt out the cats, because sometimes they can end up with many more cats than they can find homes for.

We will be in a conference room at Homeward Bound to meet with some of the kitties and enjoy light food and refreshments.
