The Zanowick family needs our help.

We will be meeting in the parking lot behind Burger King on St Rt 725 in Miamisburg at 6:45am leaving at 7:10 am. Burger King 1244 E. Central Ave. Miamisburg, OH 45342
(This is Memorial day weekend)
This is the 9th year Beth and I have been asked to round up Jeeps to help with Rocky's Run for Freedom. This is a 5k run/fundraiser organized by Gold Star Family: Nicole, Paul and Nanette Zanowick in memory of their brother/son Marine Corporal Paul "Rocky" Zanowick II, who was killed June 3, 2011 in Afghanistan.
In the past, we have provided over 30 Jeeps to block the streets and re-direct traffic away from the course. This event always has a lot of active and retired military participants. We cheer for them along their way too! Everyone always has a great time! Please consider helping. You will be finished by 11am so you still have your Saturday for other things.
The event is Saturday May 24th in Miamisburg. The run begins at 9am, so we will be meeting at the Burger King on St RT 725 at 6:45 and leaving at 7:10. We would like to have at least 35 Jeeps, but will take all that want to participate to help block streets and alleys along the route. We will start blocking the streets at 7:30 am. (Same course as in the past.)
This is a very patriotic event so if you have flags or decorations please display them on your Jeep. Also, you may want to bring a chair.
