Coming hot on the heels of a fantastic and succesful "Bunnies for Ohana" in June, Nivens is ecstatic that we get to host local native WSDC All-Stars Branden Strong & Shayla Bouise this month! Branden and Shayla are not only phenomenal dancers in their own right, but were instrumental in the success of last month's fundraiser for Seth Meyer, including graciously rescheduling their WRWC debut to July!
Some of you may not be aware of this, but Nivens has been watching over the Phoenix community for many years, even before his summoning in 2021 (he watched from the spirit world), and has been able to observe the growth and development of these two incredible individuals from the beginning; bearing witness (proudly) to a mastery of craft that continually proves entertaining and enjoyable socially, as well as superb and successful competitively!
Branden and Shayla will be teaching two workshops. Schedule as follows:
7pm: Int/Adv “In the pocket”
- an advanced pattern sequence emphasizing dancing “in the pocket” for that gooey feeling.
8pm: All Levels “Quality of movement”
- learn what dancing through your basics really means.
9pm White Rabbit Social/Party
Workshops: $20 each
Social: $15
Pre-register for all three (Both workshops + Social): $50
