Learn all about what a Seed Shepherd does, help package up seeds, or drop off seeds
This will be a fun way to test out if you would like to become a Seed Shepherd. We will be making origami seed packets, using the stamp on envelopes, packing up, and labeling the seeds for the fall Free Seed Tables and Garden Exchange Stands, GESO.
You will learn what different seeds look like, talk about our gardens and make new friends. This is one way to get your volunteer hours in while having fun. You're welcome to pop in or out during these 3 hours. If you have any bulk seeds to share we would love to get them ready for the upcoming season.
If you would like to help set up be there at 2. Take down, tidy up the room is from 4:30-5:00. We must be out of there at 5:00 sharp and keep the space just as pretty as it was. We look forward to seeing old gardening friends and making new ones!
The Seed Libraries and Stands are shared spaces and a community service for all. We are creating a larger food sovereignty network together with the locations.
