The hike takes place on the blue blazed Mattabesett and Metacomet Trails. There is ample parking at Giuffrida Park, and the hike starts with a pleasant stroll through the pines alongside the Bradley Hubbard Reservoir. Soon enough the trail turns up Lamentation Mountain. The summit offers fine views out
