Retrospective of dance tunes by Lars Saxegaard

Memorial for Lars and Carolyn Saxegaard on August 9

Lars played with Allspice for more than ten years, and for most of those years we rehearsed in the basement of Lars and Carolyn's home. Lars influenced us to play more Scandinavian gigs, and wrote many beautiful, Norwegian-flavored tunes that are still part of our repertoire. We miss his shy smile, sly wit, and positive energy more than we can say.

As part of this celebration of life, from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, we will be playing some of our favorite tunes by Lars. Come hear, dance, and remember.
