Chemin a Haut Paddle Trip

Join us for our annual paddle trip to see the massive cypress trees of North Louisiana. Show up to the boat launch at Bayou Bartholomew in Chemin a Haut State Park, early enough to have your boat in the water before 9:00am. We will paddle 2 miles upstream to Chemin a Haut Bayou. There will be people available to point out certain landmarks and strange growth of these cypress trees. The return trip is all downstream and a great time to get pictures and strike up conversations with people along the way. People will be available to help loading and unloading watercraft. Should be back to the boat ramp around lunch at the latest. Bring water, snacks and mosquito spray and be prepared to have a great time. Water pistols and bubbles are also encouraged. 😜
