In the middle of this refulgent Wisconsin summer, I
wanted to devote a Sunday to spiritually reminding
all of us of the amazing grace of this natural world.
Yes, this creation’s graciousness is often offset and
contrasted by its gruesomeness…but for this
morning at least we shall rest in what is…and
promise ourselves not to miss the holy blessing that
is placed before us every day.
